We have certainly had a very busy few weeks recently so apologies for not much by way of updates here on our news feed.

We’ve had interschools basketball challenges and teachers attending PE workshops. The children have been enjoying tennis with Gus and Soccer skills with Miguel. Our Green Team have been busy carrying out a beach clean-up this week too and more can be read about their excursion here. Martha-Katie in second class was awarded prized medals in her gymnastics and Serena in third class displayed great kindness and thought by donating her long flowing locks of hair to the Rapunzel foundation charity through her local salon. Well done Serena!  Indeed, kindness was at the heart of our recent assembly where Principal Dermot praised much of the kind nature he saw in the children this year and he awarded Principal’s Prizes to Demi and Gabriele, as well as creating a new award, The ‘Tony Award’ for kindness to honour an incredibly kind and courteous boy, Tony Mahony Brown who leaves us this year.

We have also had the prestigious award of Young Environmentalist of the Year 2016 awarded to Olamide in sixth class and together with her other classmates, Olamide has been busy preparing for the Graduation Night in the school on Thursday. The rest of the school had the chance to say ‘goodbye’ to sixth class on Wednesday when (without spoiling it too much for parents and families) the singing and entertainment on show was of a standard even higher than last year.
We look forward to posting more updates of the Graduation Ceremony later this week along with some images from our Friday sports day.
