As expected, our sixth class overnight tour to Carlingford was a huge success on Thursday and Friday. The students were paid many complements by the Carlingford Adventure Centre instructors & staff as well as our own staff who joined them for the trip. Special praise to Paula, Margaret, Des and Maria for getting involved and joining the children in the activities. It was great to see all children take part in the various tasks and the only sad part was having to leave on Friday. The weather played its part over the two days and some individuals took on their personal challenges such as fears of heights and confined spaces to overcome them with great courage and bravery. It was particularly notable how teamwork and peer encouragement were on display throughout and there is no doubt in their teachers’ minds that this year’s cohort of sixth class will go far. Here are some images of the fantastic trip.
